Five woman were arrested in Secaucus on prostitution charges last week, Police Chief Dennis Miller announced late Monday morning.

On February 6th, in an effort to reduce vice related crimes in the Township of Secaucus, the Secaucus Police Department made five arrests, Miller said in a statement.
Yuliana Beltran-Paz, 40, of Whitestone, New York, was charged with engaging in prostitution at approximately 7:57 p.m. on Friday.
Diana Granada-Escobar, 37, of Long Beach, New York, is facing the same charge and was arrested at about 8:53 p.m. on the same date.
Then, at roughly 10:14 p.m., Aned Diaz Chacon, 34, of Elmhurst, New York, and Elizabeth Figueroa-Nunez, 40, of Newark, for promoting prostitution and engaging in prostitution.
Finally, at approximately 10:54 p.m., Ju Xia, 53, of Flushing, New York, was charged with engaging prostitution.
All five women were issued their complaint summons and released from police custody.
Miller did not release the location of where the arrests are made, previously stating that prostitution arrests are typically the result of undercover police work.
