In partnership with the Employers Association of New Jersey (EANJ) and Norris McLaughlin Attorneys at Law, the chamber will provide a free Zoom webinar on Wednesday, February 11th from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Registration is available here.

This webinar is non-partisan and nonpolitical. It will include
• Best practices for compliance to minimize risk.
• Steps to take before, during and after ICE actions.
• Employer and ICE rights and responsibilities.
• How to respond if ICE agents arrive at your workplace.
• What documents ICE must provide to gain access.
• Legal protection for employees and communicating with your workforce.

The Hudson County Chamber of Commerce, founded in 1888, is the county’s premier, business association, promoting economic vitality, quality of life, opportunity, and growth.

The Employers Association of New Jersey is a nonprofit employers association providing education, guidance, and support on employment law compliance and human resource best practices.

Their webinar comes after an ICE raid in the Jersey City Heights on Sunday led to 10 people being detained, according to the federal law enforcement agency, as HCV first reported.
